Proposal Engineering Trainee

Overview

• A crucial role in shaping how we communicate the value of Siemens solutions to our customers.
• You will support the Proposal/Tendering team in developing competitive technical and commercial proposals for projects and solutions.
• Your focus will be on:
• Assisting in reviewing Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents.
• Supporting basic engineering calculations, layouts, and technical solution development under guidance.
• Preparing technical documentation including datasheets, compliance matrices, and method statements.
• Assisting in preparing cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and price breakdowns.
• Working with engineering, procurement, and project teams to collect technical inputs and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Close guidance from a Siemens expert with an extensive industry background.
• This mentor will provide you with the knowledge and context needed to succeed, including:
• One-on-one guidance and support from an industry veteran.
• Professional and technical workshops to build your skills.
• Opportunities to connect with other Siemens colleagues and subject matter experts.
• 2 to 3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard.
