Proposal Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Development: Leading the end-to-end creation of proposals, including technical writing, scope definition, and document formatting.
• Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure competitive bids.
• Technical Analysis: Translating complex technical solutions into persuasive, easily understood content.
• Collaboration: Working with sales, project management, and engineering teams to validate project feasibility.
• Client Interface: Acting as a point of contact to clarify project requirements and technical queries.
• Qualifications and Skills
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, etc.), manufacturing, or a related technical field is typically required.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of technical specifications, CAD software, and industry standards.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM/proposal software.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing proposals and presenting solutions.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
