About the role
Kent is seeking a Proposal Engineer for its growing engineering team in the oil and gas market.
The role is based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and supports the development of engineering services proposals.
The position is embedded in the Engineering Operations team and coordinates with the Kent proposals group.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop proposals covering studies, FEED, and detailed design phases.
- Analyze RFPs to understand project scope and assess bid feasibility with guidance from engineering leadership.
- Communicate with potential clients to clarify requirements and gather additional information.
- Develop hours estimates, subcontractor requirements, and other project-related expense estimates.
- Prepare technical proposals covering specifications, timelines, and methodologies.
- Ensure technical proposal elements are feasible and aligned with client expectations.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies for inclusion in proposals.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, project management, and other departments to gather required information.
- Ensure stakeholders are aligned and proposals reflect a unified approach.
- Follow Kent procedures and governance when coordinating with the proposals group.
