Junior Inventory Control Clerk

Role Scope

Warehouse and Inventory Duties

• Assist in material receiving, storage, and issuing.
• Follow HSSEQ standards in all warehouse activities.
• Support inventory checks and stock-taking.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
• Maintain and update inventory records for test equipment, power tools, hand tools, and related materials.
• Monitor equipment calibration expiry dates and follow up on renewals.
• Maintain and organize calibration, third-party inspection, and air-quality testing certificates.
• Coordinate receiving, loading, unloading, inspection, storage, issuance, transfer, and return of equipment.
• Verify equipment identification, quantities, condition, and documentation during receipt and dispatch.
• Monitor equipment availability and minimum stock levels, reporting shortages.
• Track equipment issued to end users and maintain movement and return records.
• Prepare and maintain material receipts, issue records, transfer documents, and inspection reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required; training provided.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
