Overview
The Property / Building Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
The role includes managing tenants, ensuring compliance with regulations, controlling budgets, and maintaining high standards of property performance and customer satisfaction.
Property Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building or property portfolio.
- Ensure all building systems, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently.
- Conduct regular property inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Tenant Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and occupants.
- Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
- Manage lease compliance and ensure adherence to building policies.
- Foster positive relationships to maintain high tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Tawtheeq Registration
Maintenance Management
- Schedule and monitor repairs, renovations, and improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and service contracts.
Financial Management
- Prepare and monitor operating budgets and maintenance expenditures.
- Approve invoices and control operational costs.
- Assist with rent collection and financial reporting as required.
- Management of utility bills
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, fire codes, and building standards.
- Conduct emergency preparedness planning and drills.
- Maintain all required permits, licenses, and compliance documentation.
Contract Management
- Source, evaluate, and manage external contractors and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience
- Arabic speaking added value
- Knowledge of building maintenance systems, health and safety regulations, and local property laws.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and tenant relationships.
- Professional certifications in property or facilities management are an advantage.
Language
- Arabic (Required)
