Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Property Management Accountant** to manage the full accounting and tenancy management function within the PACT software environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, tenant and landlord ledgers, reconciliations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and supporting audit and corporate tax requirements.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with prior experience in property management accounting and strong hands-on knowledge of PACT software.
Key Responsibilitiesproperty Management Accounting & Pact Software
- Manage day-to-day accounting and tenancy transactions within PACT.
- Maintain tenancy records, lease details, rental schedules, renewals, and service charges.
- Ensure accurate financial postings and ledger integrity.
- Monitor tenant and landlord accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for PACT-related accounting matters.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.
- Manage rent collection, service charges, and tenant receivables.
- Track outstanding payments and maintain aging reports.
- Issue invoices, statements, receipts, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and highlight any collection or payment concerns.
Reconciliations & Financial Control
- Perform bank reconciliations and tenant ledger reconciliations.
- Reconcile PACT balances with the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and outstanding items.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports, landlord statements, and cash flow summaries.
- Maintain accurate income and expense records by property and unit.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments as required.
VAT, Corporate Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Maintain VAT schedules and supporting documentation.
- Support corporate tax calculations and statutory filing requirements.
- Stay updated on UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations relevant to the real estate sector.
Audit Support
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum **3–5 years of accounting experience**, preferably within property management, real estate, or facilities management.
- **Hands-on experience with PACT software is mandatory.**
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Exposure to UAE Corporate Tax requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, or similar professional qualification (completed or in progress).
- Experience preparing landlord statements and property portfolio reporting.
- Pay: AED4,500.00 per month
