Job Description: Project Manager – High-Rise Construction

Role Objective

Our client is looking for a high-caliber Project Manager specialized in the delivery of iconic High-Rise Building projects. This role requires a leader who can manage the full project lifecycle—from mobilization and structural works to complex MEP integration and high-end finishing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in strict adherence to Tier-1 safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Lead the site management team to execute high-rise construction activities, ensuring all milestones (substructure, superstructure, and envelope) are met.
• Financial Management: Take full P&L responsibility for the project. Monitor budgets, approve subcontractor payments, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Planning & Scheduling: Oversee the master project schedule (Primavera P6/MSP). Identify critical path risks early and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the Consultant, Client Representatives, and Architects. Lead weekly progress meetings and manage technical queries (RFIs).
• Contractual Compliance: Ensure all works comply with the FIDIC or bespoke contract terms. Manage variations, claims, and EOT (Extension of Time) requests in coordination with the Commercial team.
• Quality & Safety (HSE): Enforce a "Zero Harm" culture on-site. Ensure the project adheres to international ISO standards and local UAE Municipality/Civil Defence regulations.
• Resource Coordination: Optimize the allocation of manpower, plant, and materials to maintain peak productivity across multiple shifts.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. PMP or MRICS certification is highly preferred.
• Total Experience: Minimum of 15 years in the construction industry, with at least 10 years specifically in a Project Management role for Main Contractors .
• High-Rise Expertise: Proven track record of successfully delivering at least two G+30 (or higher) high-rise residential or commercial towers.
• UAE Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience within the UAE, with a deep understanding of local authority approvals (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in project management software, structural systems for tall buildings (slipform/jumpform), and complex MEP coordination.
• Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team of over 50+ staff and numerous subcontractors.
