Overview

Job Purpose

Project Planning & Control

• Develop, maintain, and monitor the project construction program in accordance with contract requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to ensure completion within approved timelines.
• Ensure annual project delivery targets with a portfolio value of up to AED 50 million.

Health, Safety & Quality Management

• Develop and maintain project-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans in coordination with the HSE Manager and HSE Officers.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for project activities

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.

Procurement & Material Management

• Coordinate and manage the procurement of all project-specified finishing materials according to approved schedules.
• Monitor material submission schedules and ensure timely submission, approval, and procurement.
• Follow up on drawing submission schedules and ensure all required drawings are issued on time.

Documentation & Contract Administration

• Prepare, issue, and maintain records of Requests for Information, Non-Conformance Reports, Inspection Requests, and related responses.
• Draft, review, and respond to formal project correspondence and contractual notices involving clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Stakeholder Management

• Chair meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors and maintain detailed meeting minutes.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring prompt responses to all project-related matters.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all project stakeholders.

Project Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with site teams to identify and resolve project challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure supervisory staff prepare and submit KPIs, daily work plans, and weekly work schedules while monitoring performance and progress.
• Issue weekly project progress reports, including site photographs, to clients.

Project Completion & Handover

• Ensure successful project closeout and obtain Taking Over Certificates from clients.
• Secure Final Completion Certificates upon completion of the Defects Liability Period.
• Ensure all contractual handover requirements are fulfilled and documented.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or a related engineering discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, construction, or project management environments.
