Job Description
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team at our Riyadh location.
The Project Scheduler will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring tasks are properly sequenced and resources are allocated efficiently.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, proficiency in scheduling tools, and the ability to contribute to project planning and execution.
Skills & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project schedules based on project plans and objectives.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather task and timeline information.
- Establish task dependencies, milestones, and critical paths within the schedule.
- Allocate resources and monitor resource availability for tasks.
- Continuously update and adjust project schedules to reflect changes in scope, resources, and priorities.
- Analyze project schedules to identify potential conflicts, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving scheduling constraints or conflicts.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project timelines and milestones.
- Communicate project schedule updates to team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Generate reports and visuals to present project progress and scheduling metrics.
- Support project managers in optimizing resource utilization and project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in project scheduling or related roles.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in scheduling.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving skills to address scheduling challenges.
- Adaptability to handle changing project dynamics.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated with scheduling best practices.
