Project Manager - Substation

Role summary

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution from mobilization to energization and handover.
• Manage schedule, cost, resources, manpower, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with SEC, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress and achievement of project milestones.
• Lead engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SEC/NG-SEC standards, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Manage commercial matters, variations, claims, and cost optimization.
• Manage stakeholders and client relationships.
• Ensure timely completion, documentation, and final handover.

Candidate requirements

• SEC-approved Project Manager status is preferred.
• Knowledge of substation construction practices.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and challenging environment.

Relevant experience and advantages

• Experience in EPC substation projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects.
• Track record delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule.
• Immediate availability and transferable iqama are added advantages.
