EnerMech is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Pipeline Pre-Commissioning to lead pipeline pre-commissioning projects in the oil and gas sector.
The role covers project planning, mobilisation, technical coordination, resource management, commercial performance, and client engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end pipeline pre-commissioning projects to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Oversee pipeline cleaning, flooding, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, drying, and nitrogen purging.
- Coordinate project personnel, specialist equipment, subcontractors, and mobilisation.
- Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and EnerMech QHSE requirements.
- Monitor costs, progress, variations, and commercial performance.
- Act as primary client contact and provide technical and operational leadership to site teams.
Candidate requirements
- Proven experience managing pipeline pre-commissioning projects within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of pipeline cleaning, flooding, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, and drying operations.
- Experience delivering onshore and/or offshore pipeline projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and operational risk management.
- Excellent client management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Engineering qualification or relevant technical background preferred.
