Engagement and role

Application support and governance

• Lead the PP, PM/EAM, QM, and EHS track and act as senior escalation point for complex functional and cross-functional issues.
• Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, service requests, problems, and minor enhancements under SLAs and ITIL processes.
• Own triage, root-cause analysis, permanent correction, preventive action, validation, and knowledge capture.
• Manage change requests from impact assessment and design through testing, approvals, deployment, and post-release stabilization.
• Lead unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, ensuring evidence, defect closure, business sign-off, and traceability.
• Monitor tickets, recurring failures, backlog, interfaces, batch jobs, master-data issues, and process bottlenecks; drive service improvements and automation.

Functional delivery and coordination

• Translate requirements into fit-to-standard solutions, functional designs, configurations, specifications, estimates, test scenarios, deployment plans, and support documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, HSE, supply chain, engineering, security, Basis, ABAP, integration, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Lead onsite-offshore coordination, work allocation, quality reviews, shift handovers, knowledge transfer, and consultant mentoring.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, functional specifications, configuration records, known-error articles, release notes, support guides, and audit evidence.
• Participate in service reviews, incident forums, change advisory boards, problem reviews, and continual-improvement planning.
• Provide on-call or after-hours support for priority incidents and business-critical activities when the AMS model requires it.

Experience and expertise

• Requires 15–18 years of experience.
• Requires deep functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management (PM/EAM), Quality Management (QM), and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).

SAP production planning

• Expertise includes production master data, demand and material requirements planning, capacity planning, scheduling, shop-floor control, production orders, confirmations, and variance analysis.
• Relevant manufacturing scenarios include make-to-stock, make-to-order, engineer-to-order, repetitive, discrete, and project-oriented manufacturing, as applicable.
• Processes include batch and serial-number traceability, engineering changes, subcontracting, rework, scrap, yield, reporting, and integration with related SAP and manufacturing systems.

Plant maintenance and asset management

• Expertise includes technical objects, functional locations, equipment, maintenance plans, work orders, preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling, materials, services, costing, and completion.
• Processes include reliability, maintenance backlog, spares coordination, calibration integration, mobile execution, and maintenance performance reporting.

Critical operations and security

• Work supports production stability, asset readiness, quality compliance, operational safety, security, confidentiality, and auditability.
• Coordinate support around production cycles, maintenance windows, shutdowns, quality events, safety incidents, and planned releases.
