Role Overview
Our client, a leading
design and construction consultancy
, is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to oversee a major
retail construction project
in Dubai.
The ideal
candidate will bring strong consultancy-side project leadership, excellent stakeholder
management, and the ability to drive both
design development
and
construction delivery
from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client objectives, programme,
- budget, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate the
- design process
- across Concept, Schematic, and Detailed
- Design stages, ensuring timely delivery of all design packages.
- Review and approve design submissions, drawings, specifications, and technical
- documents.
- Oversee construction progress, contractor performance, site activities, and compliance
- with project requirements.
- Chair progress, design, and coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and
- client representatives.
- Identify risks, manage change control, and ensure proactive resolution of technical
- and design-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to local authority regulations, international codes, and best-practice
- standards.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and updates for senior leadership and client
- stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum
- 10 years’ experience
- in project management within the
- consultancy
- sector
- .
- Proven experience delivering
- retail, mixed-use, or commercial projects
- in the UAE
- or GCC.
- Strong capability in
- design management
- , including coordination of multidisciplinary
- teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (PMP preferred).
