Project Manager

Role overview

Location and arrangement

• Based in Calgary, Alberta, with a hybrid arrangement requiring at least two days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Align stakeholders across multiple business groups.
• Lead product-development project schedule, scope, cost, and quality to deliver products aligned with business needs.
• Use planning, monitoring, and control practices with cross-functional development teams.
• Monitor and respond to project issues and risks and communicate them effectively.
• Drive process improvement using systems thinking and change management.

Must-have qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Engineering or Computer Science.
• PMP or equivalent designation; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies.
• At least 5 years of project management experience and 10 years of combined engineering and management experience in product development.
• Hardware and embedded software development experience.
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-site teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to analyze, communicate, and address complex issues.

Key success factors and preferred experience

• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, multitasking, adaptability, and leadership.
• GNSS receiver operation and design familiarity is preferred.
• Experience using AI to support personal productivity is preferred.
