Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own landmark commercial transformation projects across Brisbane.
• Forecast and manage project budgets and maintain fiscal control through the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality processes, safety standards, and delivery across projects and team members.
• Manage RFIs and communication with clients, architects, superintendents, and consultants.
• Lead procurement, define scopes of work, and compile tender packages.
• Grow key accounts and client relationships to support business-unit expansion.

Experience and requirements

• Demonstrated delivery of commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 head-contractor environment.
• 2–5 years as a Project Manager, leading fit-out and refurbishment projects valued at $5M–$15M, or up to $20M.
• Must be locally based in Brisbane; daily travel from the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast is not suitable.
• Advanced construction programming, master scheduling, look-aheads, and trade sequencing capability.
• Proficiency with Procore and Jobpac, or equivalent management platforms.
• Strong teamwork, proactive attitude, leadership ability, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Relevant trade background or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Compensation

• Advertised salary band is $160,000–$185,000 plus superannuation, negotiable for the right person and based on experience.
