About the role

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple cross-functional projects from initiation through completion against agreed objectives, scope, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and progress reports.
• Establish clear responsibilities and expectations with sponsors, department heads, and delivery teams.
• Coordinate activities across departments and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes; escalate where needed.
• Monitor progress, challenge delays, and follow up on actions.
• Assess resource requirements and capacity constraints before delivery commitments are finalised.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Support consistent project processes, reporting, and governance.
• Maintain documentation and capture lessons learned.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience managing cross-functional business or technology projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong planning, coordination, and delivery skills, including managing multiple priorities.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing teams without direct reporting authority.
• Understanding of governance, risk management, dependencies, and resource planning.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to identify risks and escalate issues constructively.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, trading, or another regulated industry.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple countries or international teams.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
