Project Manager

Role purpose

Squad leadership and delivery

• Guide squads toward high-value releases and serve as Scrum Master for the assigned squad.
• Partner with the Product Owner to align strategy and execution, and facilitate squad events.
• Coach squad members in Agile methods to improve efficiency and self-improvement and drive change management.
• Manage interdependencies, identify risks and opportunities, and resolve or escalate squad impediments.
• Adapt Agile processes to squad needs, including combining Scrum and Kanban for maintenance and development, and provide delivery tools and methods.
• Lead a multidisciplinary squad spanning design and engineering, industrialization, purchasing, quality, manufacturing plants, and launch.
• Follow up on squad budgets and contribute to the squad's Agile transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of work experience.
• Six years of product or project development experience is advantageous.
• Strong facilitation techniques and ability to build and lead squads in a matrix organization.
• Promotes Agile values and principles and knows an Agile framework such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, coaching, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to plan and solve problems with product management and delivery squads and communicate priorities to senior leadership.
• Experience in one or more cross-functional disciplines in the new product development lifecycle, such as design, test, quality, or industrialization.
• BTech/BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics, or MBA/PGDM, is listed under qualifications.
