Role overview

Service delivery and functional leadership

• Lead the SAP SD/OTC workstream and act as primary functional contact for customer business and IT stakeholders.
• Govern incidents, service requests, problems, enhancements and minor releases in line with service levels and priorities.
• Own troubleshooting across inquiry, quotation, contracts, orders, availability, delivery, transportation interfaces, billing, returns, credit/debit processing and financial closure.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for recurring or high-severity issues.
• Review requirements, assess impacts, recommend fit-to-standard solutions and approve functional designs and specifications.
• Control SAP SD configuration for enterprise structure, sales documents, pricing, output, partner determination, delivery, billing, account determination and credit management.

Operations, releases and team leadership

• Coordinate cross-functional resolution with SAP FI/CO, MM, EWM/WM, PP, PS, PM/CS, GTS, Basis, Security, ABAP, integration, data and infrastructure teams.
• Plan and govern unit, integration, regression and user-acceptance testing, cutover, deployment and post-release validation.
• Monitor backlog, aging, service levels, change success, recurring defects and operational risks; present status and recovery plans.
• Lead, mentor and quality-assure onsite and offshore consultants; allocate workload and ensure documentation, knowledge transfer and succession coverage.
• Maintain procedures, solution documents, specifications, test evidence, known-error records and knowledge articles; support audits.
• Identify automation and service improvements; participate in major-incident bridges and planned on-call or out-of-hours support when required.

Functional and technical expertise

• 15–18 years of SAP experience with substantial hands-on delivery and leadership in SAP SD and OTC.
• Experience supporting large, complex SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA production landscapes under AMS or managed services.
• Expertise in sales orders, contracts and scheduling agreements, pricing, ATP, delivery, billing, returns, rebates/settlements, credit management and revenue-account determination.
• Deep SD integration knowledge across finance, materials management, warehouse/logistics, production, projects, customer service and external systems.
• Ability to analyze custom developments, interfaces, reports, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows and produce functional specifications.
• Working knowledge of Fiori, IDoc/EDI, APIs, middleware, batch jobs, monitoring, authorizations and transport/release controls.
• Strong command of ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, release, knowledge, service-level and continual-improvement practices.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.

Environment and qualifications

• Ability to meet controlled-environment confidentiality, data-protection, access-control, segregation-of-duties, audit and change-governance requirements.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, government, public sector or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the UAE and ability to meet customer background-screening or security-clearance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.
• SAP SD/S/4HANA Sales certification is preferred; ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Proven leadership of distributed teams and multiple business and technology stakeholders.
• Professional English fluency is required; Arabic is advantageous.
• Willingness to work onsite or in a hybrid model in the UAE, subject to customer and security requirements.
