Project & Execution Manager (Senior Position)

Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Own project delivery, including planning, monitoring, controlling, schedules, budgets, risk, change, opportunity, resources, commercial matters, and personnel management.
• Lead and develop execution and after-sales support teams while coordinating internal teams, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Provide support to engineering and automation teams across mechanical, controls, software, installation, and integration activities.
• Develop commissioning, integration testing, and acceptance testing plans for equipment, subsystems, and complete systems.
• Coordinate on-site activities across multiple contractors and act proactively on issues affecting scope, schedule, cost, or execution.
• Support client relationships, departmental budgets, business growth, internal communication, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Essential qualifications and experience

• Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience.
• Proven industrial or automation project management experience.
• Previous experience in the logistics or industrial sector.
• Previous project management experience in MENA.
• Familiarity with storage and material handling solutions.
• Experience across mechanical, controls, software, and installation functions.
• Working knowledge of project management software.

Desirable qualifications

• PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Arabic language skills, TQM experience, and understanding of OH&S requirements are bonuses.
• Customer-based experience and understanding of customer needs are desirable.

Location and travel

• The role is based in Dubai and includes intensive travel across the UAE, KSA, and African markets.
• Project work includes coordination of on-site activities involving multiple contractors and client or owner resources.
