Role overview
Business Development Engineer responsible for growth in intralogistics automation and material handling.
The role is based in the UAE or KSA and covers opportunities across the MENA region.
Role responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and pursue project and solution sales.
- Build prospect relationships, understand operational needs, and generate leads through an industry network.
- Translate customer requirements into suitable technical solutions with engineering teams.
- Maintain and grow key-account relationships.
- Support the territory marketing strategy and provide clear reporting to management.
Required qualifications
- An engineering or scientific degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of industrial sales or business development experience.
- MENA experience is essential.
Preferred experience and skills
- Project sales, intralogistics, or industrial automation experience is preferred.
- Solutions-based work, commercial or business management exposure, and CRM or CAD/design software familiarity are advantageous.
- Arabic language skills are a plus.
