Project Engineer (Civil)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site construction activities.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues on site.
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities efficiently.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure timely completion of work milestones.
• Monitor project costs, assist with budget control, and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Support planning and scheduling activities to achieve timely project completion.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Six to ten years of experience in villa, residential, commercial, and high-rise building projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• An equivalency certificate or engineering license is preferred.
