Supports and coordinates technical engineering initiatives from kickoff to closeout.
Acts as a link between the project manager, design teams, contractors, and clients to support project execution and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, coordinate, and monitor project schedules, work plans, and critical milestones using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Review engineering deliverables, process drawings, 2D/3D models, and as-built drawings.
- Monitor work for compliance with local codes, business procedures, safety requirements, and client specifications.
- Coordinate material lead times, track equipment, and oversee subcontractors or vendor bids.
- Interpret client requirements and provide regular progress updates and technical reports to project management.
- Troubleshoot site issues, review tasks, and implement corrective actions through the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate project records, submittals, and closeout documentation.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Four years of hands-on engineering or site experience.
- Proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, or the MS Office suite.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, time-management, and cross-functional team coordination skills.
