Role Overview
The Project Engineer executes customer projects and standard platform products from order receipt through design, manufacturing, testing, documentation, and shipment.
The role is the technical focal point for assigned projects and products.
The position works with Global Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The position is based in Pune and is an on-site role.
What You Will Do
- Review customer specifications and project requirements.
- Lead technical execution from kick-off through shipment.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables, schedules, and inventories.
- Support manufacturing, inspection, factory acceptance testing, documentation, and compliance activities.
- Act as the technical interface between customers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement using Danaher Business System principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant project engineering experience.
- Experience in life sciences, biopharma, filtration systems, skids, process equipment, or capital projects.
- Knowledge of skid manufacturing, piping, instrumentation, and welding.
- Experience with P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
