The Project Engineer executes customer projects and standard platform products from order receipt through design, manufacturing, testing, documentation, and shipment.

The role works with Global Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers.
Projects and products must be delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with Cytiva quality standards.
Workplace
- This is an on-site role in Pune.
Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications and project requirements.
- Lead technical execution from kick-off through shipment.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables, schedules, and inventories.
- Support manufacturing, inspection, factory acceptance testing, documentation, and compliance activities.
- Act as the technical interface between customers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement using Danaher Business System principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 8 years of relevant project engineering experience.
- Experience in life sciences, biopharma, filtration systems, skids, process equipment, or capital projects.
- Knowledge of skid manufacturing, piping, instrumentation, and welding.
- Experience with P&IDs, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
