About the role

Project and customer responsibilities

• Own customer communications and commercial matters after handover, including for the duration of long-term agreements.
• Ensure ongoing work has purchase order or contract coverage and pursue additional work where possible.
• Clarify deliverables with customers and commercial or sales teams.
• Develop, update, and monitor project plans and workshop workflow.
• Prepare quotations for minor repairs, overhauls, and additional work identified during inspections.
• Prepare progress and technical reports and keep project information current in the ERP system.
• Translate contractual requirements into technical instructions and agree scope changes with customers.
• Provide proactive and reactive technical support, conduct customer site visits, and review contract KPIs with customers.
• Monitor project costs, report expected overruns promptly, and instruct Finance to invoice upon completion.
• Host customers, support company-standard documentation, and lead customer complaint NCRs, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.

Competencies required

• At least 5 years' experience in the rotating equipment MRO industry.
• Working knowledge of industrial gas turbines, power turbines, and associated equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; strong organization and planning skills; ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Willing and able to work away from home when required while maintaining communication with Head Office.

Education and technical requirements

• Desirable: bachelor's degree in Engineering or completion of a recognized technical apprenticeship.
• Desirable: formal Project Management certification such as PMP, APM, or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge of Rolls-Royce gas turbine equipment within the company's core service offering.
• Practical experience in gas turbine site environments, onshore and offshore; ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
