Overview
DAR AL OMRAN – RASEM BADRAN (DAO-Badran) is seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Director to lead the delivery of major mosque and religious architecture projects across the Kingdom.
This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in program and portfolio management, construction supervision, contract administration, and project controls, with strong familiarity in managing culturally significant
and technically complex developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of mosque projects from planning through execution and handover
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project management standards, procedures, quality, and delivery objectives
- Administer and manage contracts with strong knowledge of FIDIC forms of contract
- Oversee project controls including scheduling, cost management, risk management, and reporting
- Coordinate closely with clients, authorities, and executive leadership
- Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with technical, operational, and cultural expectations
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in portfolio/program management and contract management
- Strong background in construction supervision and execution of mosque or large-scale religious projects
- Excellent working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
- Strong understanding of project management standards, procedures, and controls
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience within the GCC region is highly preferred
