Project Director - Infrastructure

Lead high-value, city-shaping infrastructure programs with a Tier 1 contractor Senior leadership visibility with real authority over delivery strategy, About Our Client A leading Tier 1 contractor in the UAE is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major infrastructure and utilities packages across large land parcels and master-planned developments in Dubai Job Description Holds full accountability for the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and utilities programs valued at approximately AED 500 million, covering wet and dry utilities, power, telecom and associated civil works from mobilization to final handover. * Owns project P&L, driving budget control, forecasting accuracy, cost recovery and margin enhancement across multiple workstreams. * Leads extensive multidisciplinary organizations spanning construction, commercial, planning, procurement, engineering and HSE functions, mobilizing large labor forces and specialist subcontractors. * Directs concurrent packages across utility corridors, diversions, authority tie-ins and live interface conditions within master development environments. * Acts as the primary interface with clients, consultants, developers and statutory authorities, securing approvals, inspections, NOCs and service connections. * Governs contract administration, change management and claims strategy to protect commercial entitlement. * Establishes integrated planning and resource strategies, implementing acceleration or recovery measures where required to maintain milestone commitments. * Ensures adherence to technical specifications, authority regulations, quality benchmarks and world-class safety standards. * Chairs executive progress and commercial reviews, providing leadership with clear visibility on risk, schedule, cash flow and performance metrics. * Supports procurement and negotiation of major subcontract and supplier agreements, particularly for long-lead utilities and specialist infrastructure packages.
