Role overview

Leadership and delivery responsibilities

• Set project objectives, performance measures, governance, and delivery plans.
• Lead mobilization, implementation, and transition from positioning and winning through design, execution, and commissioning.
• Own delivery strategy, governance, metrics, and outcomes; manage cost, schedule, risk, quality, safety, and change.
• Resolve technical, commercial, contractual, and delivery challenges and provide assurance on project deliverability.
• Build client and stakeholder relationships; contribute to opportunities, bids, and major pursuits.
• Promote safety, quality, sustainability, technical excellence, innovation, digital delivery, and sustainable solutions.
• Mentor project managers and emerging leaders and represent the organization at senior industry and client forums.

Qualifications and experience

• Substantial track record delivering complex, large-scale initiatives and significant senior project or program leadership experience.
• Experience with complex, high-capital projects and multiple interfaces is ideal.
• Demonstrated responsibility for cost, schedule, risk, quality, safety, and delivery performance.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex supply chains.
• Strong knowledge of governance, assurance, safety, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with major clients, government bodies, delivery partners, and Tier 1 contractors or equivalent.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing contractual, commercial, and financial issues.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills at executive and board levels.
