We are currently seeking an experienced Project Design Manager (Architect) for a leading engineering consultancy project in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building design and a strong background working with reputed architectural and engineering consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design development for building projects
- Coordinate with architectural and engineering consultants
- Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards
- Manage project timelines, design quality, and deliverables
- Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams
- Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related issues
- Ensure smooth coordination between multidisciplinary teams
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field
- 12–15 years of overall experience
- Minimum 7 years with engineering/architectural consultants
- Strong experience in building design projects
- Proven ability to manage complex design processes
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bilingual candidates preferred
• Priority: Lebanese, Jordanian/Palestinian
- Also considered: Egyptian, Syrian
- Experience working with reputed consultants such as:
- AEB, EHAF, Unii Engineering, QDC, United Consultants
• CEG, James Cubitt, MZP, Lacasa, DAR
- MMUP certification is an advantage (not mandatory)
