Qualifications

  • Education Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field. A Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario is an asset.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in factory automation or manufacturing environment, including experience leading teams or projects. Experience with ECC processes is an asset. A working knowledge of automation principles including pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical devices (i.e.switches, load cells, LVDT’s, etc.). Proficiency in Solid Works is an asset. Experience preparing cost estimates or quotations for technical or service-based work. Understanding of basic project management principles. Familiarity with change management, scope control, and cost tracking. Proficiency with Microsoft software tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc. Additional Information HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures. Work in compliance with divisional health, safety, and environmental procedures. Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout/tagout methods. Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts. Report defects in any equipment or protective device. Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks. Attend all required health, safety, and environmental training.
