Role overview
Provide transportation solutions to CEVA Canada customers by managing air, ocean, and ground operations, procurement, and tenders.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain constructive customer relationships.
- Follow up on supplier orders and communicate updates to customers.
- Verify documentation for compliance and issue required documents according to instructions and regulations.
- Maintain internal or external reports; track shipments and report updates to customers.
- Invoice according to rates provided to customers.
- Respond to quotation requests, RFQs, and bid requests from customers and overseas partners.
- Provide innovative customer solutions and support colleagues during absences.
Education and experience
- College diploma or equivalent education.
- 3–5 years of transportation industry experience, including at least one year in freight forwarding.
Skills and competencies
- Coordinate FCL, LCL, breakbulk, RORO, air freight, and ground transportation, including oversized, hazardous, and heavy cargo.
- Strong attention to detail, safety and compliance focus, and risk-management abilities.
- Read, write, and speak English and French.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms is an additional skill.
- Customer service, communication, negotiation, organization, judgment, teamwork, and autonomy are valued.
