Project Construction Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily construction activities; manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.
• Monitor progress and schedules; coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, method statements, material submissions, and work schedules; ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Implement HSE policies; monitor manpower, materials, equipment, costs, and project resources.
• Prepare progress reports, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Attend site meetings; arrange inspections, testing, and handover of completed work.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant construction management experience.
• Experience in building construction, high-rise buildings, and structural works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and site coordination; ability to interpret drawings and technical documents.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.

Preferred experience and skills

• Formwork or shuttering, steel fixing, concrete works, and subcontractor management are advantageous.
• MS Office and construction planning software proficiency are advantageous.
• Relevant skills include project and site management, construction scheduling, quality and HSE compliance, cost control, reporting, and client coordination.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 15,000–20,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
