Project Analyst
About This Role
Min. Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial or related discipline)
5–10 years of relevant experience in Project Controls / Project Planning / Project Analysis, preferably in construction, oil & gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collecting, analyzing and organizing project data to track KPIs and generate progress reports.
2. Issue consolidated progress dashboards and variance reports
3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) covering schedule, cost, manpower, equipment, quality and safety.
4. Risk Management: Identifying potential project risks, assessing their impact and developing mitigation strategies.
5. Schedule Analysis
1. Baseline vs actual progress comparison
2. Progress trends and slippage analysis
3. Look ahead planning effectiveness
6. Cost & Commercial Analysis
7. Budget vs actual cost performance
1. Cash flow analysis
2. Final cost forecast
8. Resource & Productivity Analysis
1. Productivity norms vs achieved rates
2. Under-utilization or over-allocation of resources
9. Progress Measurement Analysis
1. Earned Value analysis (EV, PV, AC)
2. Weekly and cumulative progress trends
10. Output of Project Analysis
1. Executive dashboards and reports
2. Management recommendations
3. Data for corporate oversight
