Job Summary
The Road Project Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth execution of road construction projects.
This role handles documentation, communication, reporting, and coordination between site teams, management, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the project team and site staff
- Maintain and organize project documentation (drawings, contracts, permits, reports)
- Prepare and track correspondence, letters, and submittals
- Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes of meeting (MOM), and follow up on action items
- Monitor and update project logs (material submittals, RFIs, approvals, etc.)
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly project reports
- Coordinate with procurement, HR, and finance departments as required
- Manage timesheets, attendance, and site-related administrative records
- Ensure proper filing and document control (hard copy and electronic)
- Support project planning and scheduling documentation
- Handle communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with project documentation and administrative processes
- Experience in document control systems is an advantage
