Role overview
Leads cybersecurity research, engineering, product evaluation, and emerging-technology initiatives from research through operationalization.
Works with security research engineers, software engineers, cybersecurity and architecture teams, vendors, startups, and leadership.
Focus areas include AI security, agentic AI, application security, quantum/PQC, blockchain, and other emerging cybersecurity technologies.
Program delivery and evaluation
- Coordinates agentic AI security harnesses, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, research workstreams, experiments, and evaluation plans.
- Sets roadmaps, priorities, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, evaluation criteria, benchmarks, and success measures.
- Coordinates technical testing, benchmarking, due diligence, vendor-claim validation, demonstrations, architecture reviews, and product evaluations.
- Produces technical recommendations and decision materials; tracks initiatives through recommendation and operationalization.
- Coordinates AI red teaming, autonomous penetration testing, agent security, and AI-native security tooling.
Technical areas
- Works with teams integrating AI agents, LLMs, APIs, security tools, automation frameworks, cloud environments, containers, and security test environments.
- Evaluation criteria include security effectiveness, technical capability, scalability, integration complexity, architecture, and operational and enterprise applicability.

- The ideal candidate combines technical program leadership, cybersecurity practitioner knowledge, and emerging-technology evaluation.
- The role requires comfort working with highly technical teams and translating ideas into measurable capabilities and enterprise recommendations.
