Program Manager, Amazon Now - UAE

• Amazon is seeking an experienced Program Manager to help scale our operations network through the launch of new facilities and expansion initiatives across the UAE.
• This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-visibility programs that directly impact customer experience, business growth, and operational excellence.
• As a Program Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of expansion projects from site selection and design through construction, launch readiness, and operational handover.
• You will work across multiple stakeholder groups including operations, engineering, finance, procurement, real estate, technology, and external partners to deliver new facilities safely, on time, and within budget.
• This role requires strong program management skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders across different functions, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly.
• Key job responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of network expansion and launch programs, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop project plans, launch schedules, governance mechanisms, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Partner with operations, engineering, finance, procurement, technology, and real estate teams to define requirements and ensure successful project execution.
• Manage external vendors, consultants, contractors, and service providers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project performance through data, metrics, and reporting mechanisms, identifying risks and driving corrective actions when required.
• Own stakeholder communication, providing clear updates on milestones, dependencies, financial performance, risks, and launch readiness.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve launch speed, reduce cost, and increase scalability across markets.
• Support business planning activities including capital planning, budget forecasting, resource planning, and long-term network expansion strategies.
• Conduct site visits and audits to validate project progress, operational readiness, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Build scalable tools, mechanisms, and operating models that enable efficient execution of future expansion programs.
• A day in the life
• As a Program Manager, your primary focus will be delivering expansion and launch projects that help Amazon grow its operational footprint across the UAE.
• A typical day may include reviewing project milestones, coordinating with stakeholders, resolving execution risks, and tracking launch readiness activities.
• You will work closely with operations, engineering, finance, procurement, and external partners to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• You will regularly analyze performance metrics, drive process improvements, and communicate progress, risks, and key decisions to senior leaders.
• Success in this role comes from balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and delivering results.

About The Team

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
• Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certificate
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership
