Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of Program Management or related work experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP certification; and 10 or more years of program management or related experience.
- Preferred experience includes 5 or more years interacting with senior leadership, 3 or more years in a large matrixed organization, and 2 or more years using program management tools such as dashboards or Gantt charts.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and sponsors on program goals, priorities, business processes, and decisions for on-time delivery.
- Manage multiple medium-sized, moderately complex programs; develop Plans of Record covering schedule, resources, communication, scope, and priorities.
- Set program metrics, secure resources, monitor risks, create mitigation plans, and maintain risk trackers.
- Promote program vision, gain stakeholder alignment, and drive process adoption and improvement.
Scope and responsibility level
Works independently with little supervision and makes decisions with significant impact.
Communicates complex information to varied audiences and may negotiate or influence senior stakeholders.
Has moderate influence on organizational decisions; may participate in strategic planning affecting immediate operations.
