Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Program Director to lead large-scale BSS transformation programs for a telecom client. This role will drive end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-year initiatives involving system modernization, digital transformation, and operational efficiency improvements across the telecom BSS landscape.
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate combines deep telecom domain expertise with strong program leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery governance capabilities.
- Own and lead end-to-end BSS transformation programs (CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management, Product Catalog).
- Deliver programs within scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets.
- Establish and drive program governance, PMO structures, and reporting frameworks.
- Manage multi-vendor, multi-geography delivery teams.
- Act as the primary executive interface with client stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Business Heads).
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior client leadership.
- Drive strategic discussions, roadmap planning, and transformation vision.
- Support contract negotiations, change requests, and commercial governance.
Skills And Experience
- 15+ years of experience in telecom/IT services, with at least 5+ years in program director roles.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale BSS transformation programs.
- Deep understanding of BSS Landscape.
- Experience with tier-1 telecom operators.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and hybrid delivery models.
- Experience managing large budgets and global teams.
- Ability to travel
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
