Strategic Academic Appointment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, executive, and professional teaching in the relevant academic discipline.
• Develop courses, curricula, learning materials, assessments, and academic programs.
• Supervise undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students and provide academic guidance.
• Lead research, publish scholarly findings, develop research initiatives, and pursue competitive grants.
• Build multidisciplinary research teams and mentor early-career academics and researchers.
• Develop academic, research, government, industry, and international partnerships.
• Participate in governance, quality assurance, accreditation, institutional planning, and strategic projects.
• Support curriculum innovation, postgraduate programs, executive education, commercialization, knowledge transfer, and internationalization.

Requirements

• A PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification from a recognized university in the relevant academic discipline.
• Significant academic experience in teaching, research, supervision, and academic leadership.
• An established record of high-quality research publications and evidence of research impact.
• Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding and supervise Master's and PhD candidates.
• Strong teaching, curriculum development, academic leadership, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Experience with research methodologies, academic governance, quality assurance, research ethics, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Academic program development, professional recognition, international experience, and industry or government engagement are advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required.
• Professional registration, accreditation, or relevant professional-body membership is advantageous depending on the discipline.
