Production Trainer

Overview

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, plan & deliver theory, practical, & refresher training courses to all levels of the Technical Division in order to meet departmental needs, and to comply with GCAA, and international civil aviation regulations and training
• Build training content to be delivered in person and on line through the Etihad learning platforms
• Maintain and update staff training records for Etihad Technical Operations Division
• Produce, devise and implement relevant policies and procedures specific to this position & the development of the Technical training function in line with regulatory requirements and corporate demands, creating an opportunity of growth and development for all employees.
• Generation of examination questions and review of course content for continuous improvement
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements related to aviation maintenance training, and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
• Perform maintenance certification duties as an authorised engineer displaying proper procedural implementation and leading by example on professional and technical standards
• Implement and provide advise on necessary changes to the EY TPM in relation to training to ensure quality standards, safety and compliance and best practices are maintained.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders as assigned by the Technical Training and Standards manager such as operations, quality assurance, and safety, to integrate training initiatives into the curriculum architecture
• Carry out technical assessments, examination invigilation & mentor junior technicians and trainees

• Facilitate the department s technical training goals by ensuring all training competencies are completed in a timely and effective manner.
