The Role
Build and run a new flash-freeze processing facility's operation alongside the founders.
Serve as the most senior person on the floor each morning at 6am.
Manage the team, production schedule, and quality of facility output.
The founder checks in weekly; the role has broad day-to-day operational ownership.
What You Will Do
- Plan, execute, and report on the daily production schedule.
- Directly manage the quality control, production, and delivery driver team members.
- Coordinate daily fruit intake from the Al Aweer market; inspect, accept, or reject deliveries.
- Oversee machine production runs from loading through sealed output.
- Own cold storage temperature compliance, FIFO rotation, and weekly inventory.
- Manage outbound delivery manifests, dispatch, and venue communication.
- Ensure HACCP compliance through CCP monitoring, corrective actions, and documentation.
- Manage market vendor, packaging, and consumables supplier relationships.
- Submit a weekly report to the founder.

- Have built or rebuilt a production or operations process from scratch, rather than only maintaining an existing one.
- Have managed a small physical team in food production, cold chain, or FMCG.
- Know what a HACCP plan is and have implemented or operated within one.
- Have been the most senior person on a production floor and made decisions without escalating.
- Are comfortable starting at 6am in a cold facility and working alongside the team.
- Have a valid UAE driving licence and genuine UAE operations experience.
- Can describe a production problem you fixed without being told to fix it.
Do Not Apply If You
Your last five years were spent managing managers and you have not recently worked on a production floor.
You need a complete playbook before operating independently.
You have only built teams in large organisations with existing systems.
You view daily written reporting as micromanagement rather than professional discipline.
You are unwilling to occasionally work beyond a 9-to-5 schedule.
You have never directly managed people doing physical work.
