Production Specialist

Primary duties include assembly of various products related to scales, sensors, and indicators. Assembly requires the ability to read a blueprint and use various hand tools or machines to complete the specific build task. Working as part of a team and assisting others is essential in reaching expected production goals and quality standards.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Reads work orders to understand scope and details of assignments. Interprets basic blueprints and follows specific assembly instructions. Ensures work cell is stocked with parts and may replenish cell from stock area as needed. Sets up and operates a variety of production machines to fulfill duties, which could include soldering tool, microscope, drill, fill machine, part washer, sand blaster, magnet crane or other machines related to cable harness assembly. Performs assembly duties which could include soldering, snipping, crimping, clamping etc. May need to interpret megohmmeter and auto ranging microvolt meters. Follows test procedures as required. Checks for non-conforming material and completes required documentation. Cleans and packs product. Consults with Supervisor on questionable cases involving material, quality, or procedure matters. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements and Skills:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Specialized training in assembly, production, electronics is helpful Previous soldering experience is helpful. Must possess good manual dexterity for assembly duties. Possess good attention to detail. Possess good teamwork skills and positive attitude. Able to work independently without close supervision. Understands basic production and quality principles.
