Production Planning – Printing Division

Role summary

Production planning and scheduling

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, priorities, and available capacity.
• Schedule Prepress, Plate Making, Flexographic Printing, and Finishing operations.
• Allocate jobs across machines and resources to improve productivity and machine utilization.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules for urgent orders, operational changes, and customer requirements.
• Release orders to approved schedules and delivery commitments; track job progress and follow up on delayed or at-risk orders.

Coordination and resource management

• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Account Management to align plans with customer expectations and deadlines.
• Review job specifications, artwork status, and production requirements before scheduling.
• Coordinate with Prepress, Printing, Quality, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to keep production flowing.
• Monitor machine capacity, manpower, workload distribution, and material requirements; proactively address potential shortages.

Reporting and improvement

• Maintain planning records and operational reports; analyze schedule variances, on-time delivery, utilization, and efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
• Support manpower planning, overtime scheduling, and capacity forecasting.
• Participate in continuous improvement, recommend process and resource-allocation improvements, and support ERP, MIS, and production planning tools.
• Comply with procedures, quality standards, and operational policies; support cost reduction, waste minimization, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate across teams to meet departmental objectives and customer satisfaction targets; perform related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, or Operations Coordination.
• Printing, packaging, label manufacturing, flexographic printing, or commercial printing experience is highly preferred.
• Exposure to prepress, flexographic printing processes, and print production workflows is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP or production planning systems.

Pay

• Pay is SAR 3,000–5,000 per month.
