Role Description
The Production Planning Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
The individual in this role will develop, maintain, and optimize production plans and schedules for the institute’s educational content and programs, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
Responsibilities include coordinating with academic, technical, and administrative teams to align production timelines with course launches, events, and publishing deadlines.
The role involves monitoring production progress, identifying bottlenecks, analyzing performance data, and recommending improvements to processes and workflows.
The Production Planning Manager will also support capacity planning, maintain documentation, and ensure that all production activities comply with internal quality standards and institutional objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong production planning capabilities, including experience with Production Planning, Production Schedules, and general Planning.
- Demonstrated Production Management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, forecast needs, and optimize production timelines and resource utilization.
- Proficiency with planning and scheduling tools or software, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in educational, training, or content-production environments is preferred; familiarity with Islamic finance or academic institutes is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial for coordination within the institute.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, collaborate with diverse teams, and uphold the institute’s values and quality standards.
