Role Description The Senior Product Manager will lead the development and enhancement of digital learning products and programs in Islamic finance.
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features, and translating market needs and stakeholder inputs into clear product requirements.
The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with academic experts, instructional designers, technology teams, and business stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality courses and digital experiences.
The role involves analyzing user feedback and usage data, managing product backlogs, coordinating releases, and ensuring products align with Sharia principles, learner needs, and business objectives.
The Senior Product Manager will also support go-to-market planning, monitor product performance against key metrics, and recommend continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in EdTech, online learning, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge or demonstrated interest in Islamic finance and Sharia-compliant financial products; familiarity with classical and contemporary Islamic jurisprudence in finance is a strong advantage.
- Ability to define product strategy and roadmap, manage product lifecycles, and translate stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Experience working cross-functionally with content experts, technology teams, designers, and marketing to deliver digital products on time and within scope.
- Strong analytical skills, including comfort with product metrics, user data, and market research to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-evolving environment, manage multiple initiatives, and make informed trade-off decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or certification in product management or Islamic finance is a plus.
- Experience working in the GCC or broader MENA region and an understanding of local market dynamics in education or financial services is beneficial.
