About This Role

Job Overview

We want to hire a competent Production Manager to organize and administer the manufacturing of goods.

You will be responsible for the effective running of all the production units and the quality of output.

You must have an extensive understanding of production procedures.

We expect you to implement some innovative changes in our current production processes and make them more efficient.

You should work together in collaboration with our Quality Control team to ensure that we manufacture a quality product.

You should have excellent communication skills.

In addition to this, you should also direct personnel towards utmost performance which will set you apart as a leader.

Problem-solving and decision making will take up a great part of your day.

If you have a prior experience in managing a manufacturing unit, we certainly would like to have you on board.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with other managers to formulate objectives and understand the requirements better
  • Prepare budgets and estimate the production costs
  • Organize the workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Resolve issues and monitor production processes
  • Administer and evaluate the performance of production personnel
  • Approve the purchase of equipment, maintenance work etc.
  • Determine the amount of necessary resources (raw materials, workforce etc)
  • Ensure outputs meet the required quality standards
  • Report issues, if any, to upper management
  • Ensure safety and health precautions are being followed regularly

Requirements

  • BA/BSc in Business Administration or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Production Manager or similar role in Production industry
  • A better understanding of production management
  • Deep understanding of health and safety regulations and quality standards
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Know-how of budgeting concepts and performance evaluation
  • Excellent operations management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership and organization skills
  • Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
