Production responsibilities
- Assist with weighing, handling, mixing, filling, sealing, and packing raw materials and finished products.
- Prepare production areas, equipment, packaging materials, and tools before production.
- Load and unload raw and packaging materials as instructed; assist with operating production and packing equipment under supervision.
- Ensure the correct product, packaging material, batch number, and quantity are used.
- Check product weight, packaging condition, sealing, labeling, and coding during production.
- Segregate damaged, rejected, or non-conforming materials and products, and report them to the supervisor.
- Complete or assist with production records and checklists as instructed.
- Handle materials and finished goods carefully to prevent contamination or damage.
- Support cleaning, sanitation, and waste-disposal activities; maintain good housekeeping in production and storage areas.
- Follow FEFO and proper material-handling practices where applicable.
- Report equipment problems, spills, safety hazards, contamination risks, and product abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Perform other production-related duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager.
Food safety and hygiene
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear required PPE.
- Do not handle food products when a condition could compromise food safety; report it to the supervisor.
- Follow allergen-control and cross-contamination prevention procedures.
- Do not mix, move, or use materials without proper identification or authorization.
- Follow cleaning, sanitation, and waste-disposal procedures.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, company food safety procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
Qualifications and requirements
- Previous experience in a food or beverage manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and workplace safety.
- Physically able to perform manual handling and repetitive production tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills are preferred.
Pay
- AED 1,000–1,500 per month.
