Production Coordinator

Role Overview

Production Planning and Coordination

• Build and maintain daily and weekly schedules across frames, arms, motor and ESC, camera and payload modules, battery packs, final assembly, and flight test.
• Adjust schedules for priorities, material availability, and engineering changes.
• Coordinate material requirements with procurement and warehouse and flag long-lead shortages.
• Run daily production meetings and follow up on actions across engineering, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
• Schedule pilot builds and first-article runs and coordinate documentation, fixtures, and training.

Production Tracking and Systems

• Track output, first-pass yield, rework, downtime, and cycle time by station and shift.
• Maintain production dashboards and daily reports against targets.
• Manage work orders, BOM revisions, serial numbers, and as-built records in ERP or MES systems.
• Maintain traceability for aircraft and key components including flight controllers, motors, batteries, and cameras.
• Coordinate engineering change orders, stock effectivity, kitting updates, and current operator work instructions.

Quality, Testing, and Logistics

• Coordinate flight-test slots, calibration, and firmware loading so completed units clear final quality control.
• Support quality holds, non-conformance handling, rework routing, and segregation of held units and components.
• Coordinate outbound shipments, battery dangerous-goods documentation, export paperwork, and customer-specific packaging.
• Maintain 5S, ESD, safety, and housekeeping standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of production planning, production control, or manufacturing coordination experience in a relevant discrete-assembly industry.
• Hands-on ERP or MES experience with work orders, multi-level BOMs, serial tracking, and inventory.
• Strong Excel skills for production trackers and KPI reports.
• Understanding of takt time, line balancing, OEE, 5S, kanban, and root-cause problem solving.
• Organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and able to follow up across multiple teams.
• Fluent English communication with engineers, technicians, and management.
