Production Assistant - Nights

What you will do

• As a Night Production Assistant, you will be part of a large team that plays a vital role in manufacturing semiconductor devices within a high-volume, high-tech wafer fabrication facility. You will follow written instructions and operate sophisticated equipment in a cleanroom environment to produce silicon microchips used in everyday products, including mobile phones, home appliances, smart wearables and electric vehicles.
• With full training, duties will include:
• Completing daily production tasks with the support of your Team Leader
• Learning to operate high-tech equipment and achieving the required wafer output
• Following production change procedures and all cleanroom working and safety practices
• Completing documentation accurately and entering transactions into the Factory Works system
• Maintaining high quality, safety and production standards throughout
• What you will need
• Essential
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
• A methodical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team with a proactive mindset
• Excellent time management, reliability and commitment to a night-shift pattern
• Beneficial
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or factory environment
• Experience working in a cleanroom
• Mechanical or technical experience with machines or tools
• Interview process
• Stage 1: Recruiter/HR telephone review
• Stage 2: Onsite assessment day, including an introduction to Nexperia and the role, practical exercises and a short interview
• Stage 3: Occupational Health appointment for successful candidates
