Supports preparation and execution of film, photography, commercial, corporate, government, event, documentary, and digital content productions.
Works with production teams on equipment, set support, logistics, and gear care.
Equipment and gear
- Prepare, organize, transport, and maintain production equipment; manage inventory of cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, stabilizers, drones, and accessories.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance; coordinate rentals, pickups, returns, and logistics.
- Label and store equipment, charge batteries, back up media, and prepare equipment for upcoming shoots.
- Maintain accurate equipment inventories and maintenance records.
On-set and production coordination
- Assist videographers, photographers, producers, and directors of photography during productions.
- Set up tripods, lighting, audio equipment, monitors, and grip equipment; manage cables, batteries, memory cards, and accessories.
- Support scene changes and equipment transitions and help maintain a safe, organized set.
- Assist with scheduling, transport, location setup, and other logistics before, during, and after shoots; help keep productions on schedule.
Learning and development
- Stay current with filmmaking equipment and production technologies, including camera systems, lighting, stabilization, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and production efficiency.
Role requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience supporting film, video, photography, or commercial productions.
- UAE driving licence; strong knowledge of professional camera equipment and accessories.
- Understanding of professional lighting, audio, and grip equipment.
- Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, work flexible hours when productions require it, handle equipment, and manage long production days.
Additional strengths
- Experience operating DJI gimbals and drones, basic camera operation, and basic photography or videography are advantageous.
- Basic editing with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, commercial advertising experience, and familiarity with AI production tools are advantageous.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 4,000 per month.
